Captain Clayton Moore
Bella Misty Fishing Charters is owned and operated by Captain Clayton Moore. He carries a USCG 100 ton Masters Near Coastal license and is a registered fishing guide with the TPWD. Captain Moore is a seasoned offshore angler and has fish the world from the African Coast to the Gulf of Mexico to the beautiful waters of Alaska. He has fished both freshwater and saltwater, targeting bottom fish as well as pelagics using trolling, live baiting, downrigging, and jigging techniques. All of these skills are used at different times to help you catch fish. For the past eight years, Captain Moore has been guiding anglers in Ketchikan, Alaska. He will now be charter fishing on the waters of beautiful Lake Whitney from October through April targeting Stripers, White Bass, Catfish and Crappie. Clayton invites all fishermen, families and groups to come out and fish beautiful Lake Whitney.

I
was born and raised in the Pacific North West. I moved down to Texas in 1996, to
be with my family. I am related to the whole town of Nocona it seems! I have had
a passion for the outdoors my entire life. I have hunted and fished all over the
United States and the thrill is still there. I rode bulls for a living (PBR-PRCA)
until 2001. My oldest son Zane was born in 1999, I decided being home with him
was more important than chasing gold buckles. I started
Heart Of Texas Guided Hunts
in 2000 on a part time basis and took it full time in 2001. In 2005 I started
guiding private water fly fishing trips and lake fishing. Over the past four
years we have grown into a complete outdoor service for Texas. Hunting, fishing,
we do it all.
This is not a hobby for us it is our way of life. I have been blessed to be able
to fallow my life's ambitions. I now have three boys of my own and my nephew
living with me. Yes, it's like a run away train around here, but I love it!! All
of my boys play baseball, to my oldest (9) Zane, baseball is life. It has been
simply awesome watching him grow with the game. He has passion, like father like
son.......I am passionate about my business and the outdoors. If I am not at a
baseball game watching the boys play, I am on the water or in the woods. That's
my life and I LOVE IT!!!
